With a successful career in recruitment, this Partner developed strong sales and relationship-building skills but wanted to create a business with greater long-term growth and recurring income potential. Despite having no prior digital marketing experience, they were driven by the ambition to build a scalable business that gave them full control over their income, clients, and long-term career direction.
Why did you start a Digital Agency?
I wanted to build something of my own that wasn’t limited by salary or commission structures. The idea of creating long-term client relationships and building recurring income really appealed to me.
What were the main challenges you faced?
The biggest challenge at the start was confidence, especially moving into an industry I hadn’t worked in before. Once I realised I could focus on clients, not setup, everything started to feel far more manageable.
Any advice for someone starting a Digital Agency today?
Stay consistent with your activity and trust the process, even when things feel new or unfamiliar. Use the training, systems, and support around you as much as possible, because they genuinely make the journey far easier.
